Introducing Jazzybelle Records by Sounds Like Now.

This spring, we officially launched Jazzybelle Records, a label incubated at Sounds Like Now, starting with the reissue of Quarteto Novo (Universal, 1967) — a landmark in Brazilian jazz that still inspires musicians and producers today.

Since that first release, we’ve kept a steady rhythm: one album every month, bridging legendary catalogues and emerging voices across continents.

🌟 Highlights So Far

  • Liniker — Global physical distribution across the US, Europe, and Asia
(7 Latin Grammy nominations, 3 Grammy nominations)

  • Céu — Global PR coordination for the 20th anniversary of the Grammy-winning artist

  • Quarteto Novo and other reissues — Partnerships with Universal and Warner for catalog restoration and global rollout

💡 A Label Built Inside a Studio Ecosystem

Jazzybelle was incubated within Sounds Like Now, our venture studio dedicated to music and creative technology.
This allows us to build not only a label but also the infrastructure behind it — a new generation of tools designed for catalog management, discovery, and global distribution.

Our in-house systems include:

  • Catalog search engine filtering by territory, genre, and rights availability

  • Automated rights-holder discovery and out-of-stock vinyl tracking

  • Data-driven scouting for reissues and sync opportunities

  • Audio & visual restoration in partnership with AudioShake and ColorSound Studio Mastering

  • Integration with tech and marketing tools from our US agency (servicing clients such as Michael Jackson and Sheila E.)

📀 Why We Started With Vinyl

Physical music builds trust, community, and storytelling.
Vinyl remains a collector’s medium and global amplifier — a tangible way to connect artists, fans, and markets.

It’s also an effective gateway for export, discovery, and sync licensing. Many of today’s most influential music supervisors are vinyl collectors themselves — they dig through crates before they scroll playlists.

Through our partnership with Modulor, Jazzybelle quickly gained retail traction across Europe, the US, and Japan, positioning our records in some of the world’s most respected stores.

📦 What We Do

  • Vinyl, merch & limited-edition manufacturing

  • Art direction & design

  • Rights management & sync (in development)

  • Publishing (in negotiation)
